The WHO pre-qualified single-use data logger provides a documented temperature history for vaccines and other regulated healthcare products during transport and temporary storage. It is selected for programmes that require a WHO PQS-listed monitoring option and a clear, standardised receiving process.
Introduction
LIBERO CS is a single-use PDF temperature data logger designed to simplify cold-chain shipments for products with known stability data. A single device can be configured with the correct profile for a specific product, removing the need to keep multiple logger types in stock.
Before shipment, users can apply the required configuration profile and add shipment information. During transport, the logger records temperature data and evaluates the configured alarm criteria. At destination, the large display immediately shows an OK or ALARM status to support fast product-release decisions.
Multi-Level Alarm Monitoring
The logger supports up to eight programmable temperature alarm levels. Alarm evaluation can be based on single or cumulative delays, mean kinetic temperature (MKT), defined temperature thresholds, or total duration and run time. This allows monitoring profiles to be matched to the known stability limits of individual products.
Automatic PDF Report
When the logger is connected to a USB port, the built-in PDF generator automatically creates a secure evaluation report containing the complete trip data. The report includes logger and configuration information, minimum, maximum and average values, alarm statistics, a temperature graph with alarm limits, and a configurable text area for shipment instructions or recipient information.
The generated report follows the PDF/A standard for long-term document preservation and supports cold-chain documentation requirements, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11 workflows.
Simple Operation Without Additional Equipment
LIBERO CS requires no separate reader or analysis software for routine shipment use. The secure Start/Stop button, automatic expiry-date management and clear multifunction display make it suitable for use by logistics teams and third parties.
Display and Status Information
The multifunction LCD shows configuration, start, run and stop status, current temperature, configuration profile identification, and a prominent OK, ALARM or blank condition. This allows receiving personnel to assess shipment status immediately before opening the detailed report.
Cold-Chain Database Compatibility
Generated reports can be forwarded to the sender or imported into liberoMANAGER, ELPRO's cold-chain database, for storage, analysis, release-status management and workflow automation. Embedded report data may also be accessed and exported using elproVIEWER where required.
